AGM + Fair Trade Talk

Join us for Tuesday 27th Nov 7 PM at the Duncansburgh Church New Hall for Lochaber Environmental Group’s AGM and a talk by Sasha McKinlay on the new Fair Trade Town Campaign “Fairtrade and Fort William: How to be a Conscious Consumer”. There will be tea, coffee and homemade cake, all welcome.

Could Fort William be a Fairtrade town?  Do you know the difference between Fair Trade and Fairtrade? We will be featuring a very short film on the subject after the formal part of the proceedings.

One third of the board retire by rotation so Andrew Squire and Martyn Green retire but are both prepared to stand again.

Andrew Baldrey was co-opted during the year and we would like the meeting to confirm him as a director

Benny MacDonald wishes to retire after many years on the LEG board as treasurer. We would like to thank Benny and invite nominations for a new board director to replace him.

We are looking for a treasurer.

If you have an interest in the environment and time for 10 meetings a year and the occasional few hours between, we would love to hear from you.
