Electric Vehicle Road Show

The Nevis Centre, Fort William, Saturday 17th August, 10 am to 4 pm.

We are bringing a great range of electric cars to the Nevis Centre in Fort William for you to try out! Come along for a test drive to see the ever expanding range of electric cars and how they would work for you!

We will also have e-bikes to try out, these are a great alternative to the car for many commuter journeys and great fun too! By giving you a boost when cycling at low speeds an e-bike can make stop-start journeys far easier or turn a hilly commute into a fast one! Thanks to Off-Beat Bikes and Nevis Cycles for coming along!

Home Energy Scotland advisors will also be on hand to chat through any home energy questions you have, from insulation to windows, and LED light bulbs to heat pumps, someone will have the answers you need!

Each time slot is an hour, and there will be 2-3 people booked in to test drive the vehicle during this time. You will get a test drive and a chance to chat with the advisors and stalls about the practicalities of living with an electric car as well as lots of other environmental topics! Please choose the car you are most interested in, there is plenty of information available online, or give us an email to see which would be most suitable.

Register Here to Test Drive an Electric Car

If you want to test drive an electric car please remember to bring your driving licence and licence check code (which replaces the paper counterpart). The check code can be accessed here: www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

If you can’t get the licence code we can generate one on the day, but you will need your licence and National Insurance number.

Thanks to Home Energy Scotland for helping to organise the event and to the car dealers who have lent the vehicles!

The Bike Kitchen will also be at the roadshow offering free bike health checks and quick repairs, so bring your bike along and leave it with the Bike Kitchen while you try out an E Bike.

See you on Saturday 17th!
